Excellent happy hour and appetizers. Salads are huge and the hot artichoke dip is delish! Thursday's you can enjoy the sounds of Gene Santini singing Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Whether you go for steak or seafood you won't be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and professional. You will see Spiro in and out if the kitchen overseeing every aspect of what is happening in his restaurant.

I've eatin here 3 times and the food quality has gone from decent to bland to blah in no time flat. The Sauteed Shrimp Athenian was the decent, however the New York Strip had no basic seasoning and the Sauteed Shrimp was served in a watery garlic ginger sauce. At nearly $30+ per entree, I can only guess that the prices are inflated for ambience not food quality, so don't be fooled by the romantic lighting and sleepy lounge music, and don't let it put you to sleep either.

Went to spiro's on a Sunday night at 6 pm. Good amount of people at the bar and only a few tables taken in the dinning room. Drinks were good. They gave bread which was warm and good. Got the fresh mozzarella and portabella appetizer and it was out of this world. My girlfriend good surf and turf which was delicious but you can't really mess that up. I got wasabi crusted tuna which was very tasty as well. The portions were large so we didn't have room for desert. Maybe next time... The only reason I gave it four stars was we went there on a Saturday Night last week. We showed up a few minutes early for our 8pm reservations. 20 minutes went by and we still weren't seated. Then we found out they were still seating 730 reservations so we left.

Saturday night, 29th Anniversary celebration. Gravitated there because the surroundings and service are lovely. The food has always been good, especially because I have no desire or skill for such "fancy" dishes, and they taste great! My one complaint, voiced on a prior visit: Busboys/waiter assistants, do NOT address someone old fart enough to be your mama as "guy". "You guys" belongs nowhere (maybe at McDonald's?) and takes away the specialness of going out. Call me old fart, but this DOES bother some people, of both genders and all ages.

This is one of the best local places for happy hour. It tends to be packed during the week as it should be, since the happy hour specials are so well priced. Salads are immense, the burger is huge and there are enough seafood options for the non-meat lovers. The happy hour menu has vastly improved from earlier in the year. The staff is pleasant. One night, there were no seats at the bar and the hostess was kind enough to seat us at a table near the bar, where we could still enjoy the specials. Spiro himself tends to walk around and see how you are doing. That's what you call great service. If you are in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit, just get there early.

I went to have dinner on Thursday night. It was great! We were seated right away. Our server was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She was able to help me on deciding what type of wine I wanted. The food was out of this world! I had one of the specials that night. I had for appetizer...the grilled eggplant and ricotta Parmesan followed by the blackened porterhouse with garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the soup of the day and Chilean sea bass. Both meals were extremely tasty and reasonable for any comparable restaurant. We also were entertained by Gene Santini which was very nice. I would definitely come back!!! Two thumbs Up!

This is a wonderful place to stop for lunch or an elegant dinner. Really gorgeous restaurant with amazing food. I enjoyed the striped bass, which was cooked perfectly and my bf had a steak that was awesome. I also highly recommend the shrimp eggplant appetizer and the oysters's rockefeller. We had a oyster newbie w/ our party that said she didn't like oysters who ate three! Best happy hour in the Port Jefferson, Rocky Point area! $5 massive burger with fries can't be beat and $12 gets you a beautiful 12oz NY strip steak dinner. Also, an extensive martini list which I love.....

This is a place worth visiting over and over and over again. I have had fabulous times here in the past couple of weeks, all during happy hour. Happy hour: M-F 3-6p, and again from 9-12. What other place on LI will you find that has a happy hour on a Friday night from 9-12? Probably nowhere. There are some appetizers that are half price during HH, and there's also the a-maaaaazing $5 gigantic hamburger. Recommended drinks: Q-Cumber martini I've met the friendly owner, friendly manager Michelle, and have befriended most all of the bartenders (which btw, are all HOT). See you there!

We went back for a second try only to use a gift card. This time it was just my husband & me. We didn't order any appetizers and went straight to the entree. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and fresh. The place was packed. We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night but got seated right away. Hubby loved the duck. It tasted really good. I had the chicken & eggplant that was cooked perfectly. We didn't stay for dessert but will try it again. Friday night seems to be a better night than Thursdays !

I was visiting family on long island and heard about this new martini bar... It turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! It's a great place to chill and relax with friends while drinking yummy martinis! Plus they have some great happy hour prices on food and drinks! Check this place out if you're in the mood for drinks but also want to be able to have a conversation with who ever your with.

The plus was getting a table on Friday night during happy hour without a reservation . Though it was packed it really wasn't overly loud. You could carry on a nice conversation without having to raise your voice or have your dinner disturbed by your neighbor sitting next you. Little things like waiting forever for bread to come to the table and waiting extra long for another round of drinks was just the beginning. Wrong appetizer came out, the broiled scallops were extremely bland and boring and the Wasabi crusted Ahi tuna was uneventful and even on the stringy side. Had to reorder an espresso due to there not being any sugar on the table and it grew cold. When new cup arrived it needed more than sugar to help. Beautiful place and atmosphere and staff all very friendly. With it being restaurant week I had higher expectations and was disappointed.

My wife and I have been wanting to go to Spiro's for happy hour for a while. We finally went to Celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. The people; place / atmosphere and food is Great!! From the appetizers which we had the Crab Cakes and Stuff Clams, to the Entrees Basil Potato Crusted Bass and the 18oz Marinated Steak which the Steak was cooked the way I like it.. all tasted amazing and will be going back again and would definitely recommend to my friends

Bartenders need to know when to stop tapping and start serving. If you advertise a happy hour at 3 o clock don't start stocking the bar at 2:45. Clearly professionals out at 3 o'clock for a drink are not going to be there until 7. They are on a schedule. Waiting for a lemon drop martini for 20 minutes is just not cool. Although the price is right for their happy hour. Nice clean place ....baked clams are so so... but after a happy hour at neighboring Alessandros In miller place.... I am happy because I didn't drop 80 dollars on drinks and some small appetizers. Spiros is good but young bartenders need to know that they need to attend to the people sitting for a drink in the afternoon rather then talking to other colleagues. Worth a try. $24 for 2 pints and 2 martinis plus for baked clams... if you can put up with mediocre service it's worth a try.

    (3)
  • Angela T.

Went to Spiros this past Friday for happy hour (3-6). Thought the clams casino was out of this world!! Ordered a cheeseburger. it was enormous it came on a large toasted bun with onions, lettuce, tomato, and a lg pickle on the side. Delicious!! The atmosphere charming! The beer was reasonably priced! I will definitely go back!

The time it takes to get a drink for the " Happy Hour " is way too long... The service is slowly getting lax... the owner should hire people without an attitude. We had dinner afterward and the service was better on that side of the place.

    (2)
  • Rob D.

The meal started off with our waitress, Allie, making great recommendations for food, drinks and even dessert. The drinks were great, the food was well prepared and the atmosphere was perfect. They had a 3- course dinner which had many great options. Again, with Allie's help we had a great meal from start to finish. This was our first time of many to come! (Allie even alerted us to the Yelp discount)

Spiro's... a little pretentious, fresh tasty foods , at slightly exaggerated prices. (Mine) Seafood Porto - shrimp, bay scallops, mussels and calamari sauteed with tomatoes, basil and garlic served over linguini $34.00 (My Girl) Linguini With Shrimp And Clam Sauce $30.00 If you need to impress who your bringing, bring them to Spiro's, otherwise, plenty of other choices in the area...

Phenomenal experience- I really enjoyed this place. I went with a girlfriend for their happy hour special, which they have 7 days a week. The cocktails here are out of this world- so creative and made with such care. We shared appetizers of hummus and eggplant parm which were perfect for 2. I then had the bass salad on a bed of spinach tossed in sesame ginger dressing for my entree and I have to say I was really impressed. My friend got the grilled chicken and fresh mozzarella salad, which was also great! At the happy hour price, this was an absolute steal! Every cocktail we tried was wonderful; there wasn't one we disliked. This place does tend to fill up, but I promise it's well worth it. Try Spiro's for happy hour for an amazing deal; I know I'll be back for their regular dining hours.

Go for happy hour -- great prices on food and drinks! So far everything I've had here has been really good: fried calamari, steak, salad with a succulent gigantic grilled chicken cutlet. And the drinks -- great martinis and mojitos. This place fills up for happy hour and the parking lot is tight so get there early.

Was there for Happy Hour,,food was great, drink specials good. We thought Happy hour ended at 7, nope, it ends at 6 and they were very strict with that time.

We were hugely disappointed. I have been wanting to come here for a long time. have been here once for drinks and it was great but that's drinks.. we came for date night on Saturday night.. had reservations yet had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, after regulars came in and were seated right away WITHOUT reservations. other than that, the staff were very attentive.. We were standing there waiting for our table and the bartender offered us drinks.. then a few minutes later the manager (I think) asked us if the bartender had offered us drinks.. it was nice to know they were paying attention.. the waiter was great too.. but the food?? and the presentation?? for the price?? not worth it! Both had the Rib Eye.. steak was over cooked, dry, and tough. Came served as a slab of meat on a plate.. Baked potato (ordered separately) was on a separate plate just a potato on a plate all shriveled up.. Mashed potatoes were also dried out - here's a tip, when you put them in a piping bag at an attempt to make them pretty on the plate, keeping them warm is nearly impossible without drying them out - find a better way to present them! The shrimp cocktail was very poorly presented as well.. We had cheesecake for dessert and it was OK.. definately not my favorite but I have had much worse.. The coffee was not very good though. But my drink... YUM! this is 1 thing they definately excel at! I had the Figs & Kisses... Overall, I'm sad to saw we likely won't be back.. and won't recommend it to friends. I will however, come for drinks

Best friggin baked clams in the area! Absolutely perfectly made. All portions are more than ample sized, and the food always comes out cooked to order. The bar tenders are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and can really nail those specialty cocktails. The burgers are huge and juicy. And to top it off, Spiros has some of the best happy hour specials I've ever seen. Service is quick and friendly, the ambiance is clean and modern. Great neighborhood spot.

My friend recommended this place and thank god he did. We had the oyster rockerfeller and the crabcakes for apps. Then we had the shepphards salad which was a great choice by our waitress Bridget. For main course i had 24 oz porterhouse and my gf had a rack of lamb which had 8 pieces of lamb which is ridiculous. I go to Costco and 8 come in a pack!!!!! For desset i had an Italian cheese cake and a esperesso which was awesome. I come from Astoria Queens which is by LGA or Citi Field and i would come here again!!!! Our waitress was excellant. We met Spiro who is the owner of the place. The ambiance is very sleek. They have a bar and restaurant in the place.

Love Spiro's! Best happy hour in the area by a landslide. Amazing food, creative drink recipes and the coolest bartenders around. ("Shouts to my man T-bird, holding it down" -Kenny ) Always accommodating to my pain in the butt family, lol. The best restaurant in Rocky Point hands down.

Spiros is THE place to go for dinner, superb drinks, and excellent service! The food is delicious with generous portions. Spiro is the friendliest most welcoming chef as he walks the room and greets all his guest. Kemal and Jay always make sure you have a delicious elaborate drink in hand. Overall, this place has stellar service and is most accommodating no matter how busy they are.

  • Tracey F.

Great place for drinks and appetizers. I prefer the bar area over the dining room for eating. I think it's because the apps are better then the entrees. The mussels and blackened seared tuna appetizers are a great choice. I was surprised that the tuna was good since I had a bad piece of fish the last time I dined there. Not sure if its a hit or miss restaurant. Their sangria's are made perfectly *watch out for a drunk guy that goes by the name of "The Grappa Man" if your in the bar area

Being a Northshore local has its perks like less traffic the Long Island Sound and if you're luckily close enough you have Spiros. The Sea Basin affiliated restaurant has an impressing menu and award winning cocktails, that are sure to make you Uber home or call a cab. Whats interesting about Spiro is the restaurants bar. The bar section of the restaurant is always lively that creates a nice ambience. The regulars (like myself) pack out the bar section every night between their happy hour (3 to 7 PM). The bar is huge so no worries they got plenty of space for their guests. The bar menu is slightly different than their dinner menu but its never an issue to order from the dinner menu when you're sitting at the bar. The starters at spiros are always amazing the famous baked clams, crab cakes and the fried calamari are all fresh and home made. Their stuffed Portobello mushroom with crabmeat is also a must try. The entrées are decent portions so try not to eat too much of their fresh sesame rolls which is irresistible. Both pan seared Salmon and the swordfish are nice and tender, most dinners are complimented with vegetables as well. Interesting regular tip for first timers , if you like stuffed fish they make the greatest stuffed bass that's stuffed with crab meat. Heres the catch its not on the menu but if you let your server know they'll know exactly what dish you're talking about. As far as their desserts go the cocktails are are like desserts so if you're re in the mood to have some dessert cocktails this is the perfect place to have em. The cookies and cream martini and their award winning biscotti martini are the best on their menu. They also have choices like the peanut butter and chocolate and seasonal martinis as well. So if this your first visit make sure to have a designanted driver their drinks are worth a try. Considering its setting and the quality of the food you eat at Spiros, the prices are exceptional so the bill wont hurt as much as that Uber ride that will bring you home.

I really love this place.. Been here for dinner, dessert, happy hour and girls night a handful of times and have always been satisfied. The staff is very nice, friendly and classy. They have amazing drinks! Their martinis are amazing. Can't go here without getting one! The hypnotiq glow martini is sweet like candy, get one-- or two:)! The baked clams and hummus is great. The chicken penne ala Bianca and chicken piccata is amazing. Their bananas foster is heavenly. Their after dinner/dessert drinks are also very good to end dinner with:)

Best drinks and appetizers. Service is good but the hostess was rude and not very accommodating. Had to get the waitress to get our seats moved. Hostess wouldn't. Otherwise if would be 5 stars. Main dishes will be hard to finish if you get appetizers. So bring home the rest. Same owner as Sea Basin but food is better here.

I've owed Spiro's an updated review for a while now! Spiro's still maintains its top position as my go to bar for drinks, happy hour, and bar food on Longuyland. Their happy hour portions and prices along with drinks cannot be beat. Anthony, Xendhra, ToniAnn, Kemal, and Jay are fantastic bartenders who really take care of you even at the busiest of times (and man does that place get busy!!!). Everyone from Carly to Laura, Collette, and the rest of the servers are absolutely awesome. My favorites are still their baked clams, burgers, calamari, hummus app, cheese plate, salads, and their baked lobster and steak specials. Though their prices have slowly increased over time (Please stop increasing your prices!!), they are still a bargain for the experience, service, food, and everything they have to offer. Spiro still walks around the restaurant daily to ensure everything is up to his standards. Tell Michelle the manager that I sent you! THIS has been a review by Gaurav

It was a very nice atmosphere. It's more of an older crowd. The food was good. It's a little pricey. If you want a nice night out w your spouse this is the place to go. Bar gets a little crowded though

Great drinks, great menu, and great service...... Oh you want me to write more. The cocktails they have are fun and different but I have yet to have better margarita. I am a lamb fiend and the lollipops were fantastic cooked to perfection and the portion was huge. You feel like a snack their bar side menu has everything from grilled chicken to mozzarella sticks to keep you comfortable while enjoying a nice drink. I have been coming here for years and its just as good each time the consistently is incredible. Long of the short of it all, stop reading this and grab a bit and some food!

Spiro's never disappoints! I've been there countless times with family and friends and never had a bad experience. My all time favorite drink is the mint chocolate chip martini- it's a must! And food wise I definitely recommend the crispy calamari, the Caesar salad and the grilled swordfish (blackened). For dessert I've always gotten the cannoli which is made in house and it's absolutely delicious. If you want a nice, family friendly restaurant close to home Spiro's is definitely the way to go.

  • Rob S.

The food was great! The service was great! Nothing more to say other than I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back! Probably one of the best grilled piece of swordfish I've ever had. Cooked to perfection on a bed of tomato and cucumber salad. Apps were amazing as well! There is just nothing that I can say bad about this place.

Had a great experience. I'm glad I went by the reviews and tried this restaurant I was very satisfied. I used the Yelp Mobile app to make the reservations and they had our table ready when we arrived. As soon as you walk in you can tell your going to have a great dining experience. Very nicely decorated. Large bar as you enter very nice. Once we were seated they immediately brought drink menu and dinner menus. Right after that we had warm rolls and fresh dipping oil with olives and seasoning. Drinks were great. Nice selection of beer and a very large selection of liquor and wine. From high end aged to new and delicious. We got the fried calamari appetizer with hot pepper rings it was very good not too chewy and not overdone. We ordered the 24 oz porterhouse and the lamb chops on the bone. Both were delicious and a nice amount of food. Not like some restaurants that give you a small portion of meat. Very filling and outstanding. The waitress was very nice and helpful the entire time always checking on us. Used the Yelp check in and got 10% off the entire bill! I do have to say the dessert was great but too small we ordered the chocolate mousse and it came in a small dessert dish and just wast enough. Everything else was amazing and we will be back soon!!

Wow wow and wow! Hands down a great spot. Frequent visitor for bar menu and specialty cocktails. Shout out to Jay and the crew on never letting me down on a great martini! Experienced their sushi specials on the weekend and amazing! Sushi was very fresh and delightful. Cheers to one of the greatest spots around town!

Easter Sunday, no reservations and we got the last table for three. The receptionist, was congenial and welcoming and Chris our waiter was knowledgeable and very accommodating . The food, from very fresh, tasty fish to duck expertly cooked was excellent. I'd offer a bread to suit the creativity and taste of the entrees ,"up" the wine list and add chunks to the crab cakes. Will certainly return for a destination dinner with friends, although I live an hour away....YES, it's worth the experience!

  • Brian K.

Horrible! First the glass on my friends drink was cracked. They replaced the drink...so ok. Our dinners were fine. Food was fine. My friend ordered desert...a piece of chocolate cake that was presented beautifully with drizzled chocolate. Until some thing on the plate was detected as moving!!Yes there were BABY COCKROACHES on the plate. The busboy was very slow moving when we insisted he get the waitress. she immediately saw the cockroaches and wisked the plate away. She came back telling us that Spiro was yelling at the kitchen. What was even more insulting is that Spiro the owner, NEVER came over to apologize. In fact they only removed the desert from the bill...meanwhile my friend was outside literally vomiting and his wife, my wife and myself just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. I WOULD NEVER EAT HERE. IF COCKROACHES ARE COMING OUT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT...IMAGINE HOW MANY ARE THERE!!!

I always sit at the bar area and go for Happy Hour with friends and family. They have 2 happy hours, from 3-6PM & from 9PM-12AM!!! Happy hour has half-priced appetizers and the food is gourmet. I typically order the Eggplant with Ricotta Cheese.. so good.. my mouth is actually watering thinking about it!!! I only had one bad experience with the order and it was refunded. I've also had the vegetarian pita, pizza, hummus, mozzarella sticks and salads. I'm not much of an alcoholic drinker, but I have tried the Mint Chocogasm, which was delicious and beautifully prepared. I've visited several times, the owner often comes out and says hello! The bar tenders are usually friendly and chat. The later in the evening you go, the customers get chatty and it's a good place to meet the locals! TVs play a good selection of games, during the world cup soccer series- they showed several different games at once. The dining area for dinner is intimate and could possibly be romantic, just never sat over there because the prices are too high for my tastes and the bar/happy hour menu meets my needs and expectations just fine! The artwork on the walls throughout is very intrinsic and beautiful. There are fresh flowers in the dining room and in the restroom.

All I can say is...wow! After numerous visits, this place keeps getting better and better....the food is always simply amazing, the staff very attentive, not to mention the drinks! You must GI for happy hour! Best drinks and reasonable prices, all served up by very friendly and knowledgeable bartenders...the owner,Spiro is usually there, overseeing the operation from front of the house to the kitchen...he always makes a point to visit his customers with a hello, and wants to make sure you are satisfied with your experience...a real gem on the North Fork of Long Island..If you haven't tried it yet,you are really mussing out in a wonderful experience....try the rib eye...omg! Heaven on a plate..Pete L.

I went to Spiro's last night for the first time and I will definitely be back! The Monday night special I had was a three-course meal which included a 2 Lb. lobster stuffed with crabmeat and scallops! It was absolutely "to die for"! The appetizer I had was Oysters Rockefeller, which was equally amazing....dessert was a very creamy and delicious rice pudding. Our server Lauren was a consummate professional in every way. She made the evening a lot of fun, and she also has a great sense of humor! Really can't wait to go back and try some more dishes....Awesome!

No matter where you live in Suffolk County...you MUST visit this exceptional place. Whether its for just cocktails and bar appetizers ( very reasonably priced) during one of the two happy hours...or for a memorable dinner....its worth the trip!! The staff is exceptional and the owner meets and greets almost every night. You will NOT be disappointed!

Came here for restaurant week and was pleasantly suprised by the options and portion sizes. The sheppard salad was yummy, and the main entree was good . I was kind of shocked that it was not more crowded, great location, good food and lots of seating. Seemed like a great spot to meet a date, or friend as the bar was packed but quiet and easy to hear people talk.

Food never disappoints! Restaurant is beautiful and the paintings on the wall are amazing! If you get here early enough the bar has amazing specials and the calamari is the best I've ever had but it fills up very very quickly. Nicer place so dress to impress but don't have to over due it. Dessert Martinis are to die for - especially the cookies and cream rimmed with Oreos OH MY GOD

  • Karen M.

Wow. This place has some good food! For the appetizer we got scallops with bacon wrapped around it. It was okay. It tasted dry and over cooked. I got the duck which was amazing. The hypnotic martini was also very good. The server was very nice. The wait wasn't to long. The seating was tight. There is definitely to many tables for the size of the place. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable. If they took out a few tables (and took bacon wrapped scallops off the menu) the place would be perfect

Really nice place, the drinks are great, but the food is old,if you are a foodie, Or a chef you know what I mean Beware if you like old food go to Spiros

Place is just not good. I'm not wasting my time with a long review because this place is not worth it. The fried calamari tastes like it was microwaved. My steak was super salty and overcooked. Wait staff was good. Drinks were good. Definitely will not be back though. There are too many good places to eat to waste my time and money here.

We have been going here for a few years. We love it, the happy hour is great. restaurant is a bit pricy for the area but we still eat in there sometimes. The food is worth it. So many yummy Martinis, great bartenters and Spiro is really a great guy.

If you are looking for a great Happy Hour place then come on down to Spiro's Lounge in Rocky Point. The place is very upscale looking and the service is superb. Tables are elegantly set up and you feel like you are at a 5-Star restaurant in the city, which this place is 5-Star. They have wonderful specials as well, like their pre fix menu, Happy Hour specials and did I mention big portions. Usually some places skimp out on food for their specials but not Spiro's! A must try is their their pan seared tuna. It is like butter. Also just start at the top of the martini list and make your way down (not on the same night) ...amazing. Ask for any specials or seasonal martinis that might not be on the list.

Spiro's Happy Hour from 3-6pm and then AGAIN from 9-12pm on Mondays through Fridays with select $6 Martinis, $6 Mixed Drinks, $5 Burgers, and generously portioned 1/2 priced appetizers in a dimly-lit, casual, yet stylish bar is just what I need after work. On the other hand, what I don't need is: 1) A sugar crash. The Happy Hour menu is obviously catered towards women, with super sweet drinks such as the Appletini, Pomtini, Melontini... whatever happened to the good old fashioned gin & vermouth-tini? 2) Valet parking. Your parking lot is no bigger than that of a 7-11. Get real!

Awesome martinis like rice pudding, lemon drop and hypnotic. Generous to a fault bar food. Not enough seating during happy hour though.

The place has pretty good happy hour and also has reverse happy hour.. both are good and packed. The food is just ok.. and as for the bartenders, it almost seems like u can never get a drink unless Ur a female.. I've noticed that if it's a guy bartender they kind of ignore u.. all in all its a decent spot

We've been to Spiros a few times now. Decor and ambiance are very nice. Our server is excellent, she is professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Pleasant and gracious. Portions are generous. Presentation is nice. Food was delicious. We will continue going back.

The food is just ok here. Went on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty. Bar was full maybe good drinks. A Glass broke on our table everywhere and we had to request the table cloth be removed bc the manager didn't want to change it she wanted the server To scrape the glass off.

Much better since they staffed themselves with real bartenders, not pretty girls with low cut shirts. Food is still awesome. Best local happy hour on the north shore.

Was very disappointed! Lobster tail was tough. Filet was over cooked. French fries were refried. When sent back...came back out refried again! There were 5 adults...very expensive. Not going back.

I have eaten at Spiros several times. My first time was shortly after the restaurant was opened. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I went there this evening with a party of six. We waited way too long for a server who turned out to be a notch over a diner veteran. Three meals were cooked wrong. A steak ordered well done came out medium. A steak ordered medium came out rare. An eggplant dish came out burnt. After the complaint about about the steak, the server took it back, the cooks simply cut it open and put it in a broiler. I expected more from Spiros but after more than a year open i guess it was time to cut corners. I wont be back.

Really wanted to like this place, heard good things. Went on Friday night, place was packed but hostess was very pleasant and gave us a table for 2. Started with baked clams, just OK and hardly any clam. Caesar salad was tasty, but boxed croutons? I had the stuffed lobster tail, lobster was so overcooked, tons of tasteless under seasoned stuffing, scallops that came with this dish were like also overcooked. My husband had the a veal special and it was very salty and tasteless. Especially got a kick out of the ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes, which were also tasteless. Did not chance having dessert. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive, but I don't think that's enough to give it a second chance.

Four in our party. Four different entrées all delicious. Each meal was creative and fresh. Manager exceptional! Arrive early!

The time it takes to get a drink for the " Happy Hour " is way too long... The service is slowly getting lax... the owner should hire people without an attitude. We had dinner afterward and the service was better on that side of the place.
